Children's Program

This is the first year our church is embracing Advent Conspiracy and I am so excited! I'm currently racking my brain, searching for ideas for a unique children's program that ties into what we will be focusing on this season. Has anybody done anything that worked well?

The Belated Thank You Letter

The Belated Thank You Letter -
For each of your relatives, recall a memory with them from your youth in which you never said thank you. Each letter can be unique, or can simply be started with "I remember when I was younger" and then proceeded to write down as much about that memory as you can. At the end of the description, simply thank them. I would often say something to the effect of "Even thought I never properly thanked you,
Spending Less is Sounding Good

It is easy for us to sound the spend-less-alarm when the economy is going down the crapper. But I think we need to be aware that this Advent we are spending less not just to save money, or even just to give money away to those in need - we are spending less because our kingdom and king is not of this economy.
