Purpose Drive Life
Submitted by JacksonNickD on Sat, 12/05/2009 - 19:34.About a year ago my dad said he was interested in reading the Purpose Driven Life. I thought this was weird because he's not Christian and not much interested in matters of the spirit. I haven't read it myself, so this year I am going to give him a copy of PDL and ask if he would like to read it together. I don't have any expectation of whether or not he will say yes, because I know that would be a big commitment on his part, but I'd at least like to put the offer out there.
Remember when...
Submitted by JacksonNickD on Sat, 12/05/2009 - 19:30.This is year for my brother I am going to spend time with him talking about all the ridiculous things we've done together. I am going to get some parchment and a calligraphy pen and write down all the weird things we've experienced. The goal is to for it to look kind of ironic. It will look like a really formal fancy thing but be full of really immature things that teenagers do. The best part will be him reading through it and not remembering a lot of it, so we'll get to spend time together talking and laughing.
Hugs

Song
Submitted by MarkHume on Sat, 12/05/2009 - 05:18.One year I was trying to think of something homemade to give to my family and decided to compose a song that incorperated a memory of each member of my family. It made for one of the most memorable Chritmasses I've ever had.

Submitted by Dana on Thu, 12/03/2009 - 20:38.In the age of digital cameras most photos are held in a computer and not all are printed. Encourage family members & friends to bring 4 -6 photos that they have printed and swap photos; once photos are swapped get together to share a small photo album that you made with the swapped photos.

Impact others for CHRISTmas!
Submitted by Rocky4JC on Wed, 12/02/2009 - 17:16.Want a good, quick, easy way to impact others that takes less than 2 seconds, and costs nothing? "Rethinking CHRISTmas" is ultimately all about keeping CHRIST in CHRISTmas. Consider purposing in your heart to always spell CHRISTmas with CHRIST in caps from now on. Encourage everyone else to do it. It's CHRISTmas - not CHRISTMAS. Regardless of when and where you write it - even if no one else will see it but you, do it that way each and every time. (from now on till you see Him face-to-face).
